Sharons Victory's Journal, 28 April 2020

Sorry if anybody is disappointed in me BUT if you'd felt what I felt I think you'd understand..the whole room was feeling like I was on a swaying ship and I felt like I was walking and not moving...very scary feeling. And dizzy.

I felt good after my meal..I ate an impressive amount. I wish my stomach would have shrunk more...but it did shrink. I noticed I chewed longer naturally! That was weird...I ate an entire chicken thigh with the skin and .75 cup of veggies that probably had a tiny bit of butter on some of it (just the green beans) and then I could feel my stomach kinda topping off so I stopped.

I feel very content and I think I can do without any more food for today...maybe I could just do dinners for awhile?

We shall see.

Not disappointed in you girl! The MOST important thing is for you to be healthy and safe! So I am so glad you ate when feeling like you needed food. 16 days is an AMAZING accomplishment, something most people can’t say they’ve achieved. Way to go!!!!!

OMG - never disappointment! I do One meal a Day (OMAD) and keep the calories low...it's been working

Who could ever be anything but impressed by that level of commitment? I would rather think anyone paying attention is relieved you ate. Take care of yourself and enjoy your accomplishment!

Not disappointed at all. Remember you're doing what you do for yourself first and foremost, and others should be here to encourage you.

I'm stoked. longest I went was 14 days out of a church wide 21 day our leadership called. I blacked out and went face first into my sons crib and broke my nose. my wife was pissed. I finished the last 7 with a daniel. so be pleased with yourself. it takes a lot of conditioning and a healthy body to do something like this.

I think you did great. I fasted for about 40 hours and that was it once. Sounds like you did the right thing and listened to your body and took your time with the refeed

I'm disappointed you thought it was a good idea in the first place... Fasting that long is not a diet, it's an eating disorder.

SkitzerTheCat, don't be both ignorant and rude.

You are doing great!!!! Suggestion stemming from the OP’s comment “maybe just dinner from now on”..... Intermittent fasting may be an option. Changed the game for me but everyone’s different. Worth checking out. I am glad I did.

Not ignorant if true, which it is. And facts don't care about your feelings. Encouraging acts like from the op is dangerous and stupid. Again, these are facts, not opinion. But please, encourage dangerous behaviors so she can feel good that she starved herself sick. Smh.

I'm glad you decided to eat when you didn't feel well. One meal a day sounds good. You can achieve your goal....may just take a little longer.

If there’s anything I can add that makes sense, it would be to eat in a healthy manner for YOUR body. Everyone is different and drastic measures are never necessary. You could be doing a great deal of damage to your body and metabolism. I eat and can loose weight on 6 small meals a day with walking as exercise. You need to feel good and be happy with whatever plan you choose...sacrifice is never necessary. Beat wishes for health.

Not disappointed at all! I can barely fast overnight while I'm sleeping, much less during the day! I'm interested to hear how your upcoming days/weeks go with reintroducing meals, and how you feel. Good job and take care!

You are a ** SUCCESS ** 👍🏾 - I have been on this site for years and I do not recall anyone going as long as you did. To me *all* fasts are a success. Take Care!
