keto gal: I did it, it took a long time. I've weighed in under 170 for 2 today straight so I am now posting it. 150s here I come lol. maybe by the summer. Keto is the only way to go, I will never go back . Once you get used to it and learn, It becomes a very natural lifestyle. The next time I get cravings for sugar or pizza that go on for more than three days I'm going to give in so I don't blow it like I did last month. I think it's important to resist hunger because that will go away in a few hours, But sometimes cravings last for days. I have no idea why , probably fatigue on my part. happy Tuesday. keto on!
169.0 lb Lost so far: 61.0 lb.    Still to go: 54.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I used to be on the HRT taking progesterone, estrogen and testosterone and it was by far much easier to stay fit. It was my understanding that the HRT study was pulled and that HRT was no longer available?

mchris8278 HRT is available. call any compounding pharmacy. i get it as a cream. Ask them who prescribes PET cream for older women. They will give you names of doctors. Most doctors are brainwashed by big pharma, and don't care to learn about how to prescribe it. ITs really easy! IT is a shame! I don't know about any study pulling them. As usual, there are studies that were done improperly, and many studies say they are safe. Honestly, without them, i was GOING INSANE! I want quality of life, not hot flashes, brain fog, unable to do anything. I am still losing slowly, but a year ago, i couldn't walk 3 blocks I felt so bad. Now i'm walking 3 miles.

Jenjabba) I swear the chocolate mousse recipe I have and make, completely satisfies my sweet tooth. I made some yesterday and put in small containers with lids and froze. Was pretty good this morning although pudding would freeze better. Will look for a keto pudding recipe. 1 cup cream 1/4 cup unsweeted cocoa 1/4 cup Stevia or whatever sweetener you use. 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract It's so simple. You just whip your cream until it's kind of folding in or tufting, add your dry mix and vanilla. Be careful, the cocoa will fly if you haven't kind of whisked it in a little first. It makes I guess 4 servings. It's wonderful.

Llamapalooza53 Thanks. Yes, I make something like that but I use unsweetened bakers chocolate. It doesn't work to stop bad cravings. I think it is a serotonin imbalance in me when I am tired. I usually have something sweet every few days. Thanks.

When I get a sugar craving on Keto, I make Debbie Cousin’s 55 second Keto muffin, ( can be found on her Accountability challenge) slathered with Walden’s Syrup...u can also add butter. Totally takes care of the craving. Today, I threw in a bout 6 blueberries. I will make Keto pizza when the pizza urge hits. You’re doing a wonderful job on this.

There's a sweet tooth and there are massive hormonal cravings that won't go away with erythritol. I'm surprised some of you haven't cheated because of themthem. No keto snack works for those. Believe me I've tried.

Hey Jen, I have occasional insane sugar cravings too. I have found that a Snickers ice cream bar is PERFECT to really satisfy my craving for sweet and not completely ruin my day. It’s 180 calories and 18 total carbohydrates, so if I have eaten on plan for the day, I can totally afford the calories and stay in ketosis! Maybe this could work for you?
