Justdoit! A life-long learner, excited to live my life, not merely go through the motions, totally in love with my near perfect husband for close to 30 years now, a proud grandmother, an even prouder mother of my fantastic daughter who is the light in my life. I retired from 34 yrs of high school teaching due to major health issues, but the resulting brain damage opened a new avenue for me, gifting me with psychic and mediumship abilities, which I use to help those who r grieving or those who need insight to improve their lives through the help of the heavens. I have struggled with intense hunger all of my adult life and finally found the Keto lifestyle as my answer to stop the hunger and become leaner and healthier. I appreciate each and every day I am blessed to wake up and experience life. I have found a wonderful community on FS , a community where we can work together to achieve our healthier body goals. Have done FS off and on since 2011 but dedicated myself to my Jan 1 2019 New Year Resolution to stay with it and not walk away as Fat Secret is the answer to reach and keep goals. Staying the course!

Hi flosser123... I joined on Jan 1st and have lost 17 1/2 lbs, which I am very proud of having done so far. I am going on 68. Definitely, my metabolism is not what it once was, and the weight loss is very slow compared to much younger people, but it is steady. I did do walking for about two weeks, but a mishap on the treadmill resulted in whiplash, so I am now sedentary with moist heat packs all day and massages. Keto is working well for me and recording every bite and measuring, along with the support of challenges has helped me reach goals. I am 1/2 pound from my 3rd goal and will b setting a new goal, soon. Even post menopausal women can achieve. Be patient.

Old Timers
4 days... 2.5 lbs down... happy to be back here. Wishing all the Old Timers a successful day as we close into Thanksgiving, the one reward day I have given myself, but instead of simply stuffing myself as in years past, I will be more aware of eating and my choices.

I agree with Koz... the smiling carrot person. It was easier when we were younger. I like the idea of supporting each other. My goal is 40 down by my birthday on Oct 18, 2019. I turn 68 and I need to get control of my weight and health. I would be happy to support other old timers
