thought I would check in. My son finally closed on his house and the work is just beginning. Lots of electric work getting done so I am running back and forth to let him in. wish he would just put a couple full days in and get the darn thing done already. keeping very busy with the fish business too. I am trying to download and then reduce the size of the fish rooms to eventually shut down. I truly am tired of it and ready to just enjoy my time.
Got all my labwork in from the new doctor and not surprising I am in need of some hormone support. My gyno tried to get me on progesterone about a decade ago and I just don't tolerate it well. I tried the natural one and same effect so we are trying the cream which is more tolerable. I have my regular estrogen cream back though my insurance won't pay for it and a testosterone cream. hopefully I will tolerate the progesterone to help balance things. not ideal to take estrogen without balance. I have been taking my thyroid med and no longer cold in the morning I have not noticed anything else so I guess that is a good thing. Pretty much staying stable on the weight thing I gained a few pounds and staying in the 132 to 134 range and I am good with that right now. from the stress of my son's property deal I was drinking too much coffee and that really fires up my worn out system. with the new suppliments I am slowly getting control of that bad habit, don't want or need it in the morning any more. it will be nice once I get over that addiction!

Great to hear things are looking so well :) "...download and then reduce the size of the fish rooms" ? As a computer programmer I NEED to know what that means! :) :)

Adefwebserver you are silly 😂😂, although that sounds like something you would do with a computer, right? 🙊😜

I breed and raise angelfish Adef, like tropical fish and I sell them all over the country. hi end stuff. been doing it for over a decade and just plain tired of it. so I am slowly but surely selling down my stock and then I will be selling off the fish tanks. my house is all aquariums of various sizes. it would boggle the mind. LOL!

Thanks Nikeit, it is a start and at least it is something to try. goodness knows when we get to my age we do need to help ourselves on the hormone replacement therapy. hopefully that will help my muscles function a little better over time. LOL!

Your job sounds interesting, but you are right you deserve time for yourself. 💕

way to go! My HRT cream is only 40 a month. you are 10 years older! big difference now in how much you need them. I use the cream in the click thing. my doc said 2-5 clicks. I adjusted over 4-5 months. give it time to get balanced in your fat cells! 👍 you do sound good! happy for your son

And go figure, it should be illegal they deny women compounded hormones. they are so much better and much cheaper

Yes, @Adef! "Download" and "shut down" suggested "computer" to me, too, but just did not compute with "fish rooms!

@Baskington, hormone balance is so tricky for us older women! The thyroid is just a tyrant -- so finicky! Hyperthryroidism runs rampant through my paternal ancestors, and I have a very small goiter that seems stable for now. At 65, I'm ahead of the genetic game, thyroid-wise. (My father had surgery at 29 and was on Synthroid for the rest of his life. His father and grandmother were hyperthyroid but never got treatment. My great-grandma's goiter was the size of a large, veiny, orange and a *fascination* to toddler-me. I have vivid memories of it. (My grandfather died in 1967, my great grandmother in the mid-to-late 1950s, when I was about 5 years old.)

you are so right Jenjabba, the new doctor is a functional medicine doc besides being a MD, and totally believes in natural blends. the two new creams are in click form like yours my estroil or how ever you spell it costs a fortune from the drug store and I may try his formula as it will be a lot cheaper. I have not been able to see my gyno for a couple years to get a refill. then finally find someone to call it in and the insurance refuses to pay for it. they can kiss my you know what!!!!! 3 more months and I will be on medicare. at least with them you are not paying a fortune each month for insurance and being told no. you pay 1/3 the amount and get told no! don't mind me, just giving off a little lite hearted steam on the medical insurance monopoly

yep downloading is a loaded statement to a computer geek. and I am so terrible with the new tech. hats off to those who thrive on it.
