Oh gosh! Glad you are still working, Ches! I can see how your sleep would be affected. Hang in there. I take calcium and magnesium at night and it seems to help me sleep sounder.

That is bad 🙁, I feel horrible when I take melatonin

I don't take it very often, but when I do I got 10mg pills and take more than one occasionally. Never had a problem in the morning though..

Try drinking some bedtime tea and reading a book about 1-2 hours before you are going to lay down. Things that calm the mind can do wonders for your sleep. I also suggest looking up “sleep hygiene.” These are things we encourage patients to do to improve sleep.

Have you been checked for sleep apnea, brother? For me, years ago, the machine was a game-changer.

Glad you kept your job! We keep hearing the economy is great but I still see store closures here and our area is supposedly experiencing growth. Real Estate and rentals are quite good.

I can relate. what app is that?

@jenjabba, that screen is within my fitbit app. @From371to184 - I stopped snoring as per the Mrs a few years back when I crossed the 230 lb mark but it maybe something I need to consider. @-tiana-, I get home around 7 PM and have so much to do with family that can't wait until the weekend to complete. I will have to figure it out. @LenaBerdecia - crazy huh? Everyone else, I am sorry if I can't thank you personally as am I am reading the comments from bottom up and I am having a difficult time focusing today. I appreciate your feedback and I will return tomorrow to post Friday weigh in number.

Hope you can get a better sleep schedule soon! And glad you dodged the layoffs!

Sleep apnea? Might be worthwhile to make sure you don't have it. I was diagnosed with sleep apnea and had no clue except my sleep log looked a lot like yours.

Curb or cut alcohol at night- it’s actually guilty for insomnia.

I feel you Ches. My wife is away helping to take care of a sick grandchild. I'm here by myself trying to keep the household going. The one big thing hurting me most is a lack of sleep. The biggest effect is that I'm tired all day and mental fatigued. I hope you continue to dodged the layoffs and get the sleep you need...

Yep sleep is so important. I wish I could have more of it. I use to use the fit bit too. Didn’t understand why I spent 8 hours in bed but was always so tired until I saw my numbers.
