I’ve lost 50 lbs doing the Keto diet. I need to lose 50 more. I have been on hiatus as of late and have felt terrible. Back on track since Yesterday and already feel better. I slept better last night and woke with more energy today. Go for it!!

I have lost 60 pounds with 80 left to go. I also do intermittent fasting, they work best together. To get into ketosis you will need to keep your carbs and protein low and you will feel sick during the change from sugar burning to fat burning but dont give up. Sea salt helps. In two weeks you will feel amazing! Good luck!

I did it last year and lost 50 lbs and got off my insulin. Then I moved from VA to NH and all that went by the wayside. Today is day #1 for me again. Hope to loose 29 lbs and will be 200 by Christmas!

I started the KETO diet about 3 weeks ago and am LOVING it! I've lost 8 lb in just under 3 weeks and have more energy than I've had in years. Best tip - log everything you eat and drink - I try to log mine a day ahead so I can see the numbers and adjustments before I'm eating things, or after it's too late. It's really not hard - the hardest part for me was getting my mind around the fact that fat is not the enemy. I've pretty much known for 20 years that carbs and I were not a good combo, but this proves it. There are tons of KETO resources here and online - Pinterest is good too.

I started Keto MARCH 20 at 175 today I am 152.2. I have stayed under 20 carbs per day, and I track everything. I am not great on exercise, hit or miss..But I have Keto bacon (buy it from a butcher) and 2 eggs..truthfully getting sick of eggs,, occasionally I have a BLT FOR breakfast in a leaf of romaine. Another thing I DO is grind FRESH turkey or chicken and make chicken or turkey salad to have it in refrigerator as a standby. I use mayo, celery, black olives, green onion, and Bubbles dill pickle relish.Hope this helps. Good luck but I work everyday to stay on track

I follow a Keto plan and have never experienced the "Keto flu" I believe I was heading down the Low Carb/High Fat road at the time and the transition was pretty easy. I have found several cookbooks that have really helped... if you like to cook! One is Everyday Ketogenic Kitchen by Carolyn Ketchum (her website is alldayIdreamoffood.com). I will gladly recommend others if your interested. My fussy husband really approves of everything I have made... so helpful!! Costco has a new book every week right now, Keto is experiencing it's day in the sun so you should have no problems finding information, recipes and support. Best wishes!

Low carb got me off of all meds. Keto makes me feel good both physically and emotionally. The best way to do it is grass-fed, free-range, and organic.

Keto is king here so you will get lots of advice. Just remember, what works for one may not fit you. Take all the advice and pick out what will work for you. Good luck on your journey and welcome!

So many people do Keto on this website. I've never been interested although because of the "relationships" and friends I've made on this website I do pay attention to carbs and try not to have too many. I mostly try not to go over 1000-1200 calories a day. My doctor said for me personally NOT to have a diet high in fat. So most of the fat I have is healthy fat - avocado, nuts, olive oil. Eliminating processed foods as much as possible can really help. I rarely have bread, cereal, pasta.

I work in a hospital, in IT, and I asked a dr. Hr told me this, "Any diet that you stop eating sugar and processed foods is going to be a good diet."
