Anyone have any advice regarding tightening skin? I recall seeing someone post something about camphor. I use a tea tree moisturizer on my hands and face in this (artic-like) weather. Thoughts?

What about trying vitamin E capsules? I used to buy them & just pike them with a pin & squeeze the gel out, worked great for scars & excema but not sure about skin tightening.

Full in the loose areas with muscle. Skin goes back over time. Give it a year. Use moisturizers.

When I finally traded my wheelchair for a walker alot of my muscles had gone to flab and I had fat in places I never had before.Swimming helped to burn off some of the fat and I got a little toned, but I had that excess skin on my bia's & tri's.There's no magic pill or remedy that I found except the scalpel, I did the old fashion way by pumping iron.my arms filled by in almost better than ever.Amazing the loose skin is no more. That worked for me! I hope this info was helpful.

I agree with building muscles.

You could get a "brush" with rubber nubs and dry brush the loose areas. Brush toward your heart, the objective is to stimulate skin circulation. Don't rub too hard as skin can micro-tear.

Keto doctors tell me that keto eats the old skin. It works better with young folk, but not so well with us old folks.

I go with Dr Berg's advice, and do Keto with a lot of vegetables, and 20 hour fasting every day. 95 pounds lost in 9 months and the skin is doing ok. I'm 54. Will rely on fasting as a way to tighten the skin, and high nutrition food. Notice the skin is catching up with time.

Thanks all - was not looking for a "quick fix" (took me years of neglect to get to the point I was this past June, will take a while to recover). I just wanted to see what was working so I don't unintentionally exacerbate the extra skin situation I'm in.

Diddlee, ? How do you get around fasting 20hr. 24/7 to me that's like being a POW

Murphthesurf. The best way is probably to search for Eric Berg on YouTube. You are fasing every day already, while you sleep. You have probably at some time eaten something that has so much fat that you are not hungry for many hours after. This is the clue.

It’s been more than 2 years since I started losing weight. My skin is now reacting and tightening a bit... I’m afraid only plastic surgery will help me achieve a perfect look! But who needs perfection?! 😋

Pure frankensence oil is great for skin elasticity. I add a small drop to my moisturizer every morning. Just be sure that it is pure and isn't labeled "aromatherapy only", that indicates that it is synthetic and you don't want to ingest or put that on your skin.

@Jenibeann - thanks for the perspective (sometimes I lack it). @Thejamiecm - thanks, will have to look into that!
