I'll be mostly good for sure, but there are 2 things that I only get at Thanksgiving; my great aunt's buttermilk pie, and another aunt's carrot cake. I plan on a TINY piece of each, because I'm not sure I'll have the opportunity again since they are both getting on in age. Not to mention no one else seems to ahve been able to duplicate them yet!

Carrot cake is why I didn't start on my weight loss until AFTER July... I get a BIG carrot cake for my birthday each year and I couldn't see my self passing it up. Now, I'll be fine with a small piece, but before, it would have weighed 1/2 pound! LOL My goal for the week is to maintain from a scale standpoint.

I'm not counting calories, but I'm also not pigging out and I don't eat desserts so I will be okay,

I at a baked potato yesterday and felt like crap last night. I need to find something in place of potatoes for thanksgiving.

I feel absolutely no need to cheat. I don't eat meat, so no loss there but my menu is creamed spinach, cheesy baked asparagus, creamy Parmesan & garlic mushrooms, roasted cauliflower, broccoli, & zucchini cheese soup, spaghetti squash scampi, and a cheesecake for desert. Lots of dairy, butter, and veggies. I will end up eating more fat than normal, and the extra carbs will come with fiber. I love feeling good! That beats stuffing, mashed potatoes, and cranberry sauce anyday! Whatever you do - No guilt, no regrets, enjoy and know that tomorrow's a new day.

@Lisaconley Pinterest has some great recipes for cauliflower mash and some people like baked radish (cut in fours) they claim its liked baked potatoes. Haven't tried it though.

No full on cheating for us, doing Common Sense Keto, so will take a loaded cauliflower dish, a keto pecan pie, and gobs of organic whipped cream, and will refrain from the host's breads/stuffing/desserts/starchy vegs (actually, from any of their vegs since they don't eat real food and those will be full of junk). So, def will go over carb count somewhat, but super blowing it! :)

Meant to say NOT super blowing it! Is there an edit option on here???

We are definitely stay Keto for Thanksgiving. we are having loaded califlower or a broccoli and califlower salad.

Staying keto but cheating with a small slice of pumpkin pie with whipped cream. DH wants traditional Thanksgiving, I'm just not craving the high carbs ... yeah!

No interest in straying, at least until I read CB's comment. Wonder how his extended family would feel about him showing up with a platonic harem in tow? I don't do "replacement" foods (except pizza) so haven't even thought about replicating traditional favorites. Am invited to a couple of places so won't be expected to eat a full meal anywhere.
