Exactly! you'll see the same testimonials on Reddit. To not have that nagging addiction all the dang time. when you're ready to stop, you can. Just build up your good habits and physical/ mental cues now. Retrain da brain. You know what to do and now that your thyroid is being treated you have even more of a fighting chance!

There should never be judgment over what type of WOE any of us are doing. You are doing what is working for you. I’m so glad to hear how successful you have been. I know last couple of years have been frustrating for you and I think between getting your thyroid in check and using the weight loss medication has helped retrain your brain and is making you feel so much better. It’s a win win in my book!💜

I agree with you princess. I think I am finally getting a better handle on this, more relaxed mode, eating reasonable food that I like, but tracking calories at the same time. One thing I know is helping Mr, is not having snickers, KitKats, doritoes and chips on a regular basis.

That is really awesome! I'm beyond happy for you. I think it's great that you have found a tool that can help you regain your health and lose weight. Food addiction is a real thing, and I am 1000% in support of using medicine to help overcome it. Plus, good on ya for wanting to take the changes that are happening and incorporating them into a healthy mindset and environment. You sound like you are thriving and excelling, DP. You inspire me!
