ongoing saga with my testing, my adrenal panel and my thyroid is out of wack and we are doing more testing to see if my other glands are also a mess. the endo specialist they found can't see me until april so we are doing all we can to get some more info in the limited tests my doctor is allowed to do. I found another one I can see in feb so set that appointment. limited options with my insurance. I have found a functional medicine doctor, which is also a traditional doctor not a chiropractor, which I will see in jan and then decide where to go from there. but I made the specialist appointments as they are all so backed up. the functional doctor will be out of pocket and they are not cheap, but if I can get fixed, that is the most important part. I don't want to take unnecessary med's and feel this doctor is my best option for overall improvement of my food issues and gut issues. the rest might all stabilize if I can fix my allergies and let everything settle down

Sorry to hear this. Will you be taking anything for the thyroid or you feel the right foods can help with this as well

Hang in there. It must be hard, but you are making headway and getting closer to some answers. I give you a lot of credit for not throwing in the towel. Prayers and good thoughts for you to get the right answers and solutions to get you to a place of good health. ❤

Wish the process could be faster. It's amazing, not in a good way, how much time it takes to get specialists. Praying you get some relief soon. ❤️

Good luck! I’ve been there with a thyroid that doesn’t really work! Makes it quite a bit harder to do stuff. 🙋🏻Make sure they test Vitamins B & D and your Ferritin (Iron) level as well. They can also be massively screwed up and make having energy hard. 🙆🏻‍♀️

Please continue to be careful and try to avoid what you know to avoid. Hope someone can give some solid answers soon!

thank you everyone, I would like to avoid medications until we find the root cause, having the adrenal problem figured out will be key. but I am hoping the local functional medicine doctor can manage my food sensitivities and once that is fixed everything else should settle down unless it turns out I have a growth on my adrenals. one step at a time. 3 weeks until I visit the doctor and I should have my new labs in early next week.

Sorry about the back up for you new doc - that seems ridiculous to me since you really need to get in there! Hope the functional doc can help, too - you sure are going through the wringer and I wish you the very best in getting yourself better!!
