my challenge results settled that argument in my head hands down hahaha.
I still gained muscle on my cut, only lost 400 grams(less then 1 pound) but droped from 10 to 6% body fat.
I would keep fats way way lower if you can, I tried to keep fats under 40g a day when cutting properly.
you will enjoy the cut cycle mate, you get a tonne of self confidence with it. the compliments will come thick and fast hahaha

I wouldn't go into more then a 600 a day deficit or you won't have sustainable energy mate. how long are you planning on running a cut cycle.

You should easily be able to maintain current levels of strength for 4 weeks mate. You should still aim to grow the muscles though. Your workout will be totally different in a cut over a bulk. Low weight high reps until failure... Then 1 more!!
Really want to see you hit 10% mate you can do it!!

To low Chris and you just won't have any energy mate. I'm seeing it more and more..
600 Cal's is the most I would go personally, people are going 1000+ deficit and are fading out way to early in this Challenge. And when they are in the gym it's a poor showing.
You want to still fuel your workouts, cutting workouts are in my opinion harder then bulking ones. High weight is a physical thing, cutting is a mental challenge
