Turkey Sausage & Vegetable Soup
A nice, one pot meal you can throw in the crock for 10 - 12 hours and eat for days or freeze for later.
Ingredients
Directions
- Slice the turkey kielbasa (or polish sausage) cross-ways, to may 1/4" oblong pieces. Brown each side in fry pan.
- Brown the turkey sausage, in pan, remove grease, if any.
- Add the meat, green beans, corn (optional), carrots, celery, onion, chicken stock, spices, Worcestershire sauce, and a dash of liquid smoke, (except for fresh cilantro, to be added before serving), and fill crock with water.
- Cook on low for about 10 hours, add seasonings to taste.
- Note: you can add other vegetables and have fun with it!

The salt and pepper can be "too taste",... I believe I did use that much, but it may not need quite as much depending on how big your crock is. :)

really good, lots of soup, but 24 servings....wonder what size each serving is. I ended up using my electric roaster as my crock pot was too small.
