Hearty chowder with a rich mushroom flavor.
Ingredients
Directions
- In large saucepan, melt butter.
- Add onions, and saute until golden. Add mushrooms, vegetables, salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer 15 - 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Combine flour and water; slowly stir into vegetables.
- Add chicken stock, simmer 10 minutes.
- Just before serving, stir in cream (Do not let boil).
- Sprinkle with parmesan.
