Chicken Stir-Fry

No fuss, easy stir-fry recipe using any protein you like.

Ingredients

Directions

  1. Heat the chicken stock or broth in a non-stick wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Cut the chicken into strips or chunks and add to the wok (or any other protein choice - tofu, lamb, beef, shrimp). Cook until almost done.
  3. Agg the vegetables, cayenne pepper and ginger, cook until tender.
  4. Seperately, quickly scramble the egg and then it mix through the stir-fry thorougly. Serve hot.
  5. Note: great recipe for fat flush plan.

Sounds good, only without the carrots, which are not allowed in Phase 1.

Avoid the carrots

if you read the book thoroughly carrots are allowed in phase 1 but limit to only 1 serving a day because of the starch content..
Even in phase 1 of Fat Flush, I'd avoid the carrots and substitute celery instead...cooke those in last to retain their crunch. Great recipe though!
Very good as well! Short cooking keeps everythign crunchy. :)

i took out the asparagus and added zucchini, squash, and mushrooms........i think it needs a little less ginger.....other than that it was a great hit with everyone.........
