I have been over weight all my life...done all the tests in early childhood to see if I am normal...I am lucky I have no health problems except my weight I even have low blood presure...I think my highest weight was 400+lbs but I am not sure because the doctor's scale went only to 320lbs..I got gastric bypass 12 yrs ago, lost over 150lbs but since my first child I gained weight...
About a year ago my scale started going on the fritz.It took forever to get another. Now I got one agian, hopefully it won't go fritzy again.

I am the head chef at an old folks home.I am mostly on my feet, cooking cutting....anything to do with cooking. I am not hungry at work. I start at 7am but usually eat at lunch. Then I usually don't eat till I get home and supper is made and I am relaxing...usually around 7pm....It should be easy to keep my cals down but I eat high cal food and my weekness is coke I am totally addicted to it. I am back and will stay on track take it one day at a time.

Loosing it
I am surrounded by delisiously dangerous desserts every day. I say to myself is it worth it. Is it my favorite dessert is it with whipped cream, also am I hungry. If I am hungry can I eat something else and be satisfied. It has worked for me for the last year and a half. I also lost at least 80lbs in that time. One day "screw up" doesn't mean everything is lost.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
honestly I rarely weigh myself...when I do I get obsessed and my humour is affected. I measure myself instead and it was a better motivater. Often I would weigh myself and I either gained a pound or stay the same but when I measured myself I would be down a few centimeters.

Need help tracking calories in loaf of bread
usually calculate the bread as a baguette. Most artisan bread has the same ingrédients. I like morocian food. hope this helps.
