Busy father of 2 boys, husband to loving and extremely supportive wife. Try to stay active as much as possible as time permits. Huge bicycle nerd. Not much for getting into all of the politics of organized cycling. Not an Armstrong fan, never was. I've done pretty much the same thing that everyone else her has probably done at one point in time or another. As someone with a natural concern for how things work, began doing research on the ketogenic diet. Had some success, and got lax, and fell off. With a renewed vigor, I have returned to make this a lasting change.

I'll Agree with this. I do have some processed foods from time to time, but I tend to lean more towards whole products, and "process" them myself.

Yes, keto is very similar to Atkins, in fact it's the induction stage of Atkins. Now I haven't gone through all the details of the Atkins diet. Basically, I have planned to gradually add back carbs up to a certain point once I have reached my goal weight for maintenance. And yes I plan on doing keto for the rest of my life. Now, will there be opportunities for pizza, and sweets, and my true weakness...Chinese food? Absolutely, it's just right now I'm staying focused and on target for the current goal at hand.

Yeah, you know, you are probably right, sorry about that. I didn't realize that you were going to bless us all with your presence and give us all the answers to physical fitness and a healthy lifestyle so we can be just like you. I'm done with your story.

Way to go dude, instead of helping people out and offering solutions, you come in here with your attitude. You do a lot more for people by listening to them and less talking and preening on a forum.

The Paleo Diet
I'm not doing Paleo, but I am doing Keto, and having tremendous success! You can go check out my numbers on my profile. The main difference between the two is the addition of fruit,and the subtractionof dairy on paleo.. for me Keto is easy to follow and it works. If you have any questions just ask. Smile
