I am a Network Administrator for a small city in South Florida. I am married - 40 years as of July 14th, 2014. I like reading and watching movies, and anything related to computers. I am childless by choice. I have one cat. Ginger.

My job is very demanding and at times very stressful. I am on call 24/7 including supporting a police department with over 100 officers. Eating has become my way of relaxing. I was on here before when I was in Weight Watchers, but they closed the meeting at my workplace, and I wasn't losing anyway, and I didn't want to drive to another city after work.

Now I have been diagnosed with fatty liver and my doctor wants me to go on a low-fat diet. So far it is looking good. Lots of things I like that I can eat, and I've learned the things I think I want that are bad for me, really don't have power over me, I have power over them!

Today's a new day and I'm definitely not giving up!

Migraine Question
Get blood work done. You may have a low sodium balance or maybe have depleted some other vital mineral or vitamin. It happens sometimes even when you're making what should be "good" changes. Don't wait on this, it may not take much to correct whatever your body is trying to tell you about. Good luck!

Are you an emotional eater too?
Nostalgia is one of my emotional triggers and wishing I could go back to a simpler way of life (I don't always feel this way).

When I was a kid, my Mom always had a big pot of soup or something good to eat waiting for me when I got home from school. It took me years of my adult life to figure out that is why I want to eat something as soon as I walk in the door from work.

how to view goal date?
I do know what I entered as my goal weight because that has been consistent . The date is not that important, I guess. I want to be reasonable and not expect too much of myself, but I do better with a goal in sight. I' d be happy losing a pound a week if I could keep up a steady pace and not yo-yo so much.

how to view goal date?
How do I see what date I put in originally as the goal date for my goal weight? I am setting up gosls in my personal planner and wanted to list the same goal, but I don't remember what I said and now I can't seem to get back to it.
