Hmmm...I'm filling this in a little late. I'm a sophomore in college and have been struggling with weight gain at school (cafeteria food is NOT healthy). Last summer I got home and weighed about 130. I started the Extreme Fat Smash, which I prefer because I like structure, over the summer and got down to about 114, but then relaxed a little too much and went up in weight a little. I am trying to do EFS while at school, which is really difficult, considering I am on meal plan and there are no grocery stores nearby. Anyways, I am trying to separate food and stress--be able to eat healthfully during the school year AND during the summer, not just the summer. I'd really like to get down to about 110 pounds by the summer--don't know if it's possible though.

Substitutes for Exercise?
I am on EFS and I have trouble getting in the required amount of exercise...
I ALWAYS do at least 45 minutes of cardio every day, but I find it difficult to do two sessions, each 45 minutes, or to even do a full 60 minutes. Is there anyway I could supplement this with my diet? Maybe switch a cup of rice with a cup of steamed veggies?

I am doing EFS...if you are looking to lose about 10 pounds I think it is better...because Im not sure unlimited fruits and veggies in Fat Smash, although healthy, will help those stubborn last 10 pounds come off (or quickly that is...) Those last ten pounds are always stubborn and I have tried EVERYTHING, but EFS seems to really be working. It usually takes me FOREVER to lose weight, since I am small (only 5'1"Wink, so I dont need that much food to begin with. I am just finishing up Cycle 2, and felt super full--like I was eating TOO much, and had a lot of drinks and extra food on 4th of July, but I am down almost 3 pounds anyways...Its amazzziiinggg Very Happy

Coffee in Phase 1
I am on the Extreme Fat Smash Diet and I am allowed 1 cup of coffee per long as you have it with skim milk and no artificial sweetneers, i assume one cup would not hurt..just dont drink anymore

If you're a small person...
Hey everyone
I'm on Day 4, cycle one of EFS and have not weighed myself. I'm only 5'1" and 125 pounds and looking lose 10-15 pounds. Since I am short and whatnot, should I be reducing the amount of food that Smith has us eat on the Extreme Fat Smash Diet? Or maybe follow Beta/Gamma (even though I'm closer to an alpha...)
