Is anyone doing EFS? It seems like everyone is doing the first version of this diet. Has anyone out there done both and, if so, which one did you like better? Hoping to find a diet buddy to do EFS with...

I am doing EFS...if you are looking to lose about 10 pounds I think it is better...because Im not sure unlimited fruits and veggies in Fat Smash, although healthy, will help those stubborn last 10 pounds come off (or quickly that is...) Those last ten pounds are always stubborn and I have tried EVERYTHING, but EFS seems to really be working. It usually takes me FOREVER to lose weight, since I am small (only 5'1"
, so I dont need that much food to begin with. I am just finishing up Cycle 2, and felt super full--like I was eating TOO much, and had a lot of drinks and extra food on 4th of July, but I am down almost 3 pounds anyways...Its amazzziiinggg

I did just the regular Fat Smash. I had 15 lbs to lose and it all came off within 7 to 8 weeks. which for me was great! I even lost the last 5 that I couldn't lose from my first pregnancy. Not to mislead you though. I did kinda stick with phase 1, with the exception of eating meat and pasta here and there. I would say do the one you can stick with. They both show results and that is what counts for those of us trying to hit our target weight.

I'm on EFS and I like it. I prefer it to FS. I like having a regimin and EFS offers that. Good luck to you!

I am doing the EFS, this is only day 3 but I'm feeling like I have more energy and as long as I plan out my meals the day before it's going pretty well. I like this one as opposed to the FS because it has the options for meals pretty well laid out in the book and if you follow it pretty closely you should see results. I really think the biggest difference between the 2 is the exercise. EFS requires more exercise per day. Well, keep with it! Good luck to both of us! = - )

I am also on EFS and I have never done the original FS. I am on my second go round, the first time, I lost almost 7 pounds in cycle 1 and 2 pounds on cycle 2, not too shabby. I am hoping to have just as good if not better results this go round because I am looking to lose 15-20 lbs

My wife and I are on EFS. I heard Dr. Ian Smith on the radio and just grabbed the first book I saw. When I got home I wasn't sure EFS was what I wanted because it is "time based". I didn't really have a time frame to lose wieght, I just wanted to eat better and lose consistantly.
I've been very pleased with the results. We followed the diet very closely the first 2 weeks and didn't do so hot the 3rd but still lost. I've hit the goal I was shooting for by August 7th. I've set a new goal and started back on cycle 1 as of today.
We did buy the first Fat Smash book just to see how different it was. My wife and I had such bad eating habits that I think the structured meals in EFS work much better for us.

Drink lots of water. If you can, try drinking the Benefiber packets in your bottled water. It keeps you feeling full which helps during the detox phase and it helps with bloat, belly fat, and energy.
