I am a 42 year old professional managing an electrical panelboard assembly shop. In 2000, I weighed 215 lbs (heaviest of my life) and decided to do something about it. I joined WW and lost 48lbs over a 10 month span and maintained it for six years. Our family relocated to a different Canadian province in 2002 and my wife and I started a family in 2006. Understandably, my focus shifted from me to them and the weight slowly crept back up. In January 2010, I was up to 208lbs and made the decision to focus more on myself without compromising my family commitments. It was not easy to find time to exercise, so I just watched portion size and made better food choices. Since January 2010 I have gotten back down to 182lbs with little or no consistent exercise regimen. Now that the kids are older I am starting to find more time for myself and I am starting to focus on consistent exercise to complement my eating habits. My goal is to lose another 10-12 lbs before Christmas.
