I'm 57, 5'4" and have been gradually gaining weight for the last 20 years. There was once a time I thought weighing 120 was fat...Stupid. I've lost weight a few times over the years but it eventually always came back. After menopause a few years ago and hypothyrodism I got up to 185. I have always been active, working out, running, gardening, etc. I've found that exercise helps me feel better physically, but it doesn't get rid of the poundage. I have now accepted that I must track my calories in order to lose. I'm on the journey now and I'm going to make it.
