Sad After 2 days on Atkins the leg cramps are severe even though I drink 10 glasses of water per day. I have trouble with my electrolytes in general and Atkins seems to aggravate the problem. The good news is that just 2 days on Atkins has tamed my craving for white bread and sugar! So while my husband continues on Atkins, I'm going to switch to calorie counting with emphasis on protein and healthy carbs. I have done well eating proper portions of healthy food in the past. I just really wanted some quick weight lost and Atkins usually works really well. My food diary is always key to my success. It really makes me face just how much a I eat per day. Should I leave the Atkins forum?

I'm starting back on Atkins today. In 2011, I lost 10 lbs after doing induction and then transitioned to a more balanced food plan. I managed to lose another 33 lbs after that and kept it off for awhile. The good thing about the Atkins induction phase is it managed to break my addiction to processed food and carbohydrates. Then, when I switched to a more balanced, lower calorie plan, I was able to better control my portions and continued to lose weight. That's why I'm back on Atkins. My cravings and habits are out of control. I have set up my meal plan for today strictly following the Atkins plan and so far I feel fine and not hungry. I am keeping my food diary here and, while my carbs look great, I still worry about the calories. I plan to have steak tonight and that really increases my calories for the day. In any case, I'm going to give it a shot. I think water intake is really important when following this diet. Maybe lack of hydration contributes to headaches.

jmjr4all - Thanks for replying. It's not a big deal. It just looks like an amazing weight loss in 7 days (at least for me)! At least it will be accurate going forward.

Help with FatSecret Weight History
I actually started my diet on Feb 7th, but didn't learn about FatSecret until Feb 14th. When I entered my initital weight it went on Feb 14th. Now today, when I entered my weight it looks like my total weight loss of 10 lbs. happened in 7 days rather than 14 days.

FatSecret won't let my add an historical weight before my start date. I don't see an option to change start date.

Is there any way to record my starting weight on Feb 7th or basically change my start date?
