I am in my mid-50s and would like to lose 40 to 50 pounds. This is the same 40 to 50 pounds I have been gaining and losing all my life. Now I'm starting to have some health problems, made worse by my weight. I really want to live an active lifestyle without pain. Losing weight and keeping it off is critical for me at this time in my life. I am on a low carb, high fiber, high protein diet of 1,500 calories or less per day. Since Jan 1st. I have averaged about 1400 calories a day and have lost 8 lbs. Glad to have a group of people with similar goals!
