I am a 40 year old mother of 2 beatiful girls. I have been married for 17 years and I am over weight. I have been batteling the issue for sometime now. I have finally said enough is enough and I mean it. I had to do alot of life style changes in many areas of my life. In order to get to this point where I am ready to take off the much needed weight. So I am ready and determined to give it all I got. I will officially start this journey on Jan 1st,2011. I still have a few more things to move out of my way. So that there will be know excuses on why I did not make it this time.

Caffeine
If that is the only amount of caffine you are having a day. It should be fine, just stick to the 1 soda and 1 espresso a day. In another group I am in. I have learned that it is easier to lose weight if you keep 1 or 2 things you enjoy. In your diet to help you curve your cravings. Just do it in moderation and log in everything you eat. To include your treat you are giving yourself. I hope this helps.

Jan 1st 2011 here I come
Thanks for all of your replys to my post. I have kind of already started I have been mindful of my food intake. I still have some of my little projects to clear up by the New Year. I know that if I do not get them done. Then they will be excuses like last year and I don't want that. I need to be 100% dedicated to this weight goal this time around. I do not no about you but when my house is not in order. It is hard for me to focus on other things. So I am going to start on Jan. 1st as planned but I will start some of the good practices early. Like drinking my water,starting to track food, getting enough sleep and start using my food menus for weekly meals. Thanks again for the support. I am new to this site but I know I am really going to like it here.

Jan 1st 2011 here I come
Jan 1st 2011 is going to be my new start. A new start for a new me. I know I have said this plenty of times before but this time is different. I have taken the time to clear some of the things that stood in my way. Got rid of some of the things that I was using for excuses. Took the time to prepair and come up with a plan. Decided that this is for me and no one else. When I was doing it for someone else I failed everytime. I will not fail me. Me is who I need to take care of and in taking care of me. Others that are around me will benefit. Friends,Family,Co-Workers and Even Strangers will see the change in me. With this change I hope to motivate and encourage someone to do better for them selves. So Jan.1st 2011 here I come.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weight in first thing in the morning. I use my wii fit so that it can keep track of it for me. This way I can see my changes daily with the graph that is on the game.

Looking for buddy new to site.
Hello I am a 40yrs old and battling 20lbs. I have been doing this for some years. At last I know I am ready to loss it once and for all. I am looking for a buddy someone active on the site,positive but can also let me know when I am not giving it my all. This is the year that I have claimed for myself. So I am looking for a buddy with the same drive and determination. I am giving myself until Jan.1st to enjoy the holidays. Before I start this journey. I do not plan on tempting myself with the hoildays. So I am just getting my game plan all set up. Which will include meal menus,challenges on this site,my photo to post, and my work out routine. can not wait to interact with you and help each other with our goals.
