Success! I can't believe I'm still losing, eating things like chili with sour cream and cheese, buffalo wings, pizza - I love the simplicity of counting calories because you can eat anything, no restrictions, as long as you hold down your portions. I was seriously eating like 1000 calories a day in snacks in addition to 3 big meals, so it's no wonder I can eat 1500 calories a day and still lose. I even haven't had any exercise in 3 days. I need to get to the gym but it has been so damn cold! That's no excuse, but I really don't want to venture out in the teens. I need to start doing the elliptical, big time. My rear has turned to jelly, it needs tightening up, and badly. I also need to do some weights and some ab exercises. I really need to go. I got a new phone so I need to get my app reinstalled. What a hassle. Oh well, it has to be done.

Still holding steady. I am so excited to drop below 200 into "onederland". Once I do that, I have a whole pile of jeans and pants I've been waiting to get into that I can squeeze myself in but are too uncomfortable to wear that I just can't wait to get into. I have a whole bunch of stuff that is a size 14 that is too small for me, even though I wear a size 14 and still can wear stuff that's a larger size 14. Sizes are not meant to mean anything! They vary so much!
They are more like rough guidelines. Some stuff I can fit a 14, other I take a 16, I even wear some 18s in like coats and stuff. It all just depends. I have a small lower half and a huge stomach, so my legs and butt and hips are like a size 10, and my belly is a size 14 if not 16. I am so glad manufacturers still make the mid rise jean, because I could not squeeze my fat belly into high rise jeans! I hate them! My belly/waist is the bane of my existence. I really want to improve it.

More loss! And it was so cold and miserable yesterday that I didn't get a chance to exercise, though I did plenty of housework. I guess that is exercise! It feels sooo good to see the scale go down. I know I am still in the beginning and I haven't hit the dreaded plateau yet. I am being very faithful in recording my food and exercise, something I haven't done in years. I find it so much easier not to overeat if you are recording everything and can honestly look at what you have consumed and can say - do I really need that? I was eating ALL DAY LONG - probably 1000 calories just on snacks, and was not understanding how I was gaining weight. That coupled with no exercise, it's no wonder that I regained the 50 pounds I lost in 2012. I have a lifetime of bad eating and exercise habits. I only periodically get up the resolve to tackle them. This is one of those times - I hope I can make some real headway.
