I'm just another average lady trying to beat the weight off. I've always been a chubby girl, with small moments of glory with one diet or another. Since 2001, I've progressively gained weight, where I've climbed as high as 232. Shameful. Really.

Just like most overweight Americans, there are many reasons that have contributed to my obesity. I joined this site to to conquer each of my excuses, and get to my weight loss/health goals. I want to develop a healthy lifestyle that limits my ability to stay obese. What does that mean? Less fast food, less eating out, less couch time, less cheeseburgers & pizza, less impulse eating, more activity, more adventure hikes, more motivation to be out & about, more natural foods, more life.

I'm excited to be a normal person, rather than the fat girl that bumps her thighs around corners & squeezes into airline seats. I'm ready to have more energy and flexibility. Tracking my food & exercise is the key to getting to my goals.
