breakfast ideas
I love the mocha ricotta recipe. I changed the vanilla extract to coconut and get a fabulous chocolate-coconut dessert.

breakfast ideas
I was scrutinizing my daily food intake and realized (to my infinite horror) that I am completely breaking the fat and protein bank by the time I'm finished eating breakfast (although the calorie count is low).

I am 100% not a morning person so cracking eggs and hitting enter on the microwave is about all the brain power I have in the AM. Does anyone have any suggestions for easier fat-friendly breakfast ideas?

Thanks!

what am I doing wrong?
Thank you KellyBo, that's a terrific link! I'm pleased to realize that I'm not fat, I just have REALLY heavy organs! Wink

But like that article said, I do notice that my weight fluctuates a lot more depending on how much water I drink and whether or not I'm close to my period. And I totally agree with you Gabbi. I did South Beach 2 years ago and had no problem dropping 6 pounds on Phase 1 but I'm not getting the same results this time around. But, it doesn't help that my fiance (who is doing South Beach with me) wakes me up this weekend shouting that he's lost over 5 pounds in a week and I'm struggling. I just smile and munch on more broccoli!

I've updated my food journal, and I suppose there could be too much salt in my food. I will definitely look more closely at the amount of sodium.

Concerning fiber, I've always thought is came mostly from fruit or supplements. During Phase 1, where should I go to increase my fiber intake?

what am I doing wrong?
I thought I was doing so well! I was steadily losing 1/2 to 1 lb. per day until 2 days ago. But, since day 5 of Phase 1, I have been regaining 1/2 lb. per day. I am following the diet closely and not cheating at all. True, I've only been to the gym once (and am going again today) but I've been so good.

Does anyone have any suggestions?!?

Thanks,
Gwenllian
