I'm 67 years old, hence fatbut 1948. Been in stage 4 kidney disease 4 several years. Trying to eat well and exercise. I'm a binge eater! Will stay on diet for so long and then all hell breaks out.will eat everything that is not nailed down. Also a night sneaker. You know-if no one sees you eat it,it doesn't count. I know what causes it-stress. I worry alot about my kidneys. 55,000 people die each year
from lack of kidney doners. So be sure and have that little red organ doner heart on your drivers license. So many people being cremated now why not donate instead of just burning up those precious organs. Love all dogs, cats not so much. Husband is handicapped due to his back. Can barely get from point a to point b. He is 11 years older than me and just about all our friends are gone. Enjoyed western square dancing while he was able. We were instructors. Danced at the grand Ole oprey once. Built a 105' sternwheel boat from the hull up. Lived on it for several years until he couldn't scramble around the paddle wheel and engine anymore. Sold it but the new owners take it to all the festivals. They love it and live aboard all the time. Only boat we have now is a rowboat. That's tied to the house incase river rises and we have to leave quick. Love the river as long as it stays in its banks. One time it rose to three feet of back door. We were on an island then, surrounded by river. All dogs and yes they let us aboard escaped in the old rowboat. Don't want to go thru that again. Lol

Old timers disease
I usually eat between 7 & 8 hundred calories. I don't have a desire to eat. The doctor put me on 1000 calories. I go to TOPS and one of the ladies said I will get old timers disease by eating so few calories. You have to feed your brain. They had a member this happened to and is in a nursing home. Is is true? Also I have kidney disease.

Still walking peewee by myself but I am losing weight. Would sure like to have some more dog walkers

That happens to me. It's a drop in your sugar. Try eating a spoon of sugar. It works for me

Walking the dog
Walking the dog is a very good exercise. You are outside in the sunshine listening to birds. You see squarrels, rabbits and deer. I hope other folks will get interested in this relaxing form of exercise and join the group

Diets do not work.......
I have tried every fad diet there is. Yo yo weight. I have gained and lost the same 75# over and over. Now I'm on my doctors 1000 calorie diet and walking the dog 3 times aday and losing weight. I like to be full so if you are creative you can be full on 1000 calories. Lewis Kemp fake crab legs have only 35 calories each. I keep in fridge for snacks
