How Often Do you weigh yourself?
WEBMD gives the following advice "People who succeed at losing weight and keeping it off weigh themselves often, research shows. A step on the scale at least once a week seems to build awareness best.
Don't stress if the number on the scale goes up and down: Weight can change by several pounds over the course of a few days as water weight shifts."

Who else is concerned about having loose skin?
I don't like it,but love losing the pounds.Getting a little sag in my chest,not much in my belly.At my age I thought I'd have a lot of loose skin around my waist but it seems to be tightening up.My worst is my upper arms under my biceps.But like the way I look today better than 6 mos. ago.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
Everyday as soon as I get up.It helps me.If I lose a pound it makes me happy & I want it to keep going.If I gain a pound it gives me incentive to work harder at it.

In and out of Ketosis??
I don't know much about it, but I bought some Ketone Strips from Pharmacy.It shows I have a small amount of Ketosis.I follow Atkins Induction Plan to a T.I feel I should be further in Ketosis.The only thing I can figure is I don't get enough exercise due to recent back injury.Good luck.

Various Diets
Back in the mid 1970's I hurt my leg & had to get operation.Sat around about 6 mos. before going back to work.Gained 75 pounds!I had heard of Atkins Diet,but did not buy book.Everyday I ate one boiled egg for breakfast,a diet coke for lunch,a piece of meat anyway I wanted it,any size & a salad for dinner.I'd walk at least 2 miles everyday & lift wts every other day.I lost 100 lbs in a little less than 3 months.
I then bought an Atkins Diet book,just to have handy.Over the years if I gain a little I'd do Atkins & knock off the wt.Last year I had to have knee replacement.Long time before I was getting around.Gained quite a bit.Tried Atkins again & it didn't seem to be working.Don't know why. I made up a new diet just a few days ago but it seems to be working.I have a shake,Atkins,Slim Fast,Whey Protien,whatever.Have one for breakfast,one for lunch & eat whatever I want for dinner as long as it's under 500 calories.Has anyone tried anything like this?I wonder if it's harmful.
