After losing about 100 lbs within a 3 year time frame, I'm searching for new ways to keep me motivated as well as new ideas in order to continue my weight loss goal of around 30 lbs. I've been actively searching news and information with regards to health and wellness. I'm not certified in this field, but I sure know what it takes and what one would need to do in order to begin and/or maintain their weight loss journey.

I'm a big fan of "The Biggest Loser". I learn a lot from this show. I strongly recommend watching this show to anyone looking to begin or to anyone who can relate to the contestants on the show.

It's all about choices. First, make the choice to begin. You're a lot further along than most people if you just make that choice. Next, commit to it. It's as easy at that. Finally, motivation is key. Get all the motivation you can in order to continue your weight loss
goal(s). Quit making excuses, and just make the choice. The choice to lose the weight that you've been carrying for so long begins by saying "Yes" to this life changing experience.

Choose, Commit, Motivate...

UGHHHHH...Carbs
You weren't kidding when you said those carbs creep up on you. Carbs seem to be everyone's friend in terms of taste. Question: When you choose your carbs (breads, noodles, cookies, etc...), are they wheat, whole wheat, multi-grain, etc...? If not, try to make the switch to those type of carbs as a morning food. With the exception of the cookies. I would also suggest looking into complex carb foods for the morning as well. They'll keep you energized throughout the day while maintaining and keeping your feelings of hunger subdued. Hope this helps a little.
