The plan diet book
OK FS on my quest to figure out nutrition I am constantly researching and you tubing lol. I was watching a tv show and Lyn genet was discussing the anti diet. OK the zillionth diet on the market but I was wondering FS thoughts on her radical views. I m always buying foods that are said to be healthy and want to know are they actually causing me to gain weight. One I particular was shocked that she brings up is salmon. What the hay lol touted as the omega super star.

Tired of dieting? Good because diets don’t work.

Calories mean nothing and there is no such thing as “healthy” food: all that matters is how YOUR body digests food. When you eat a food that doesn’t work for your body an inflammatory response is triggered and this response affects your weight, your health and hastens the aging process. The Lyn-Genet Plan works by finding these healthy foods and when these foods are omitted from your diet, you lower chronic low-grade inflammation. When inflammation is decreased everything falls into place, health, vitality and optimal weight.

There are 4 basic variables for weight gain/poor health- not enough water, consuming too much sodium, eating reactive foods and overtraining. When you eliminate foods that are inflammatory for your body you can increase your caloric intake because your body is no longer having an inflammatory responses which retards digestion and causes you to put on anywhere from .5 to 2 lbs in inflammatory response. A fitbit is a risky pur chase as there is so much that can go wrong. One the button fell out and sec did not sync. The band snaps off on the charge so be super careful. I like that it's a constant reminder to move I do believe it has encouraged me to be more physically fit. If you have a lot friends esp with a fitbit u can do challenges. I am not really competitive and wish there were solo games there are badges. Good luck and join a fitbit group on fat secret for support.

flax seeds
I am simply happy that I have been adding flax seeds on everything.before I would toss some in my smoothie. One day I left them out on the counter and put some in my pesto. I love the nutty flavor. I love nuts but they are soo expensive. I also made a cheese pizza with pesto flax seedsbtomatoes parmesean.I wanted to use up some pesto and felt fat eating pizza lol.

I am with you on having to use multiple sites. It seems like you have to use various to get a full picture. For food and exercise I use another because I want it to sync with fitbit. But for the ease and support there is nothing like fatsecret. It's not too overly complicated.

Any such as white Cannellini black pinto kidney lentils really any beans. I do not want to get back on the kick if it is going to make me gain weight and as the paleo community would proclaim cause inflammation.
