I am 34 and I am a single mother of a teenage girl. I lost my job back in September and am currently searching for new employment, I just graduated college for the second time in January with a degree as an AEMT. Due to losing my job I left this sight and returned to some of my bad habits.
I originally needed to lose 140lbs, I now need to lose about 90-100lbs to meet my goal of 160-150 lbs. I am hoping to find support and motivation thru this site and progress forward instead of going backwards again.
I have been struggling with my weight for 10+ years now, since my early 20s. I got the closest to my goal weight back in 2007-2008, was almost below the 200lb mark, then let my weight shoot back up. I have let my job(s), stress and other things negatively affect me.
I am tired of making excuses, tired of letting myself down, and tired of not wanting to look at myself in the mirror.
I need to find the "real me" again and take charge of my life.
My current Goal is to lose 90-100lbs, and 2-3 dress sizes. I am currently in a size 16/18 (depending on brand, would be happy with a size 12-14.
I'm hoping that this site will help me finally accomplish my goal.
