I'm a 19 year old trying to become the most complete and perfect fighter I can be. My current goal is to cut down to 170 for the welterweight division in MMA. I'm trying to lose weight slowly so I can maintain as much strength and performance in the gym as possible. So my goal is to lose about 0.5-1 lbs of fat each week.

DON'T DO CARDIO - Must Read!
I could only read the top paragraph without wanting to rip my face off (A.D.D) and I just wanted to say that what you mentioned is OVERTRAINING! Of course that's going to happen if you run a marathon a day. I usually keep my cardio short, 15-30 minutes of intense cardio every day, and it feels me with more energy, etc. If you feel like your legs are getting weak, take a few days off. Maybe even a week if you have to. If you keep running on a daily basis even though your legs and body are tired, OF COURSE IT'S GOING TO GET WORSE. It's not like it's going to get better, that's when cortisol pumps through your body. Moderation is indeed the key guys.
