Sisu is finnish loosely translated as 'strength of will'.
That is how I am planning to take control of my life. This isn't just a weightloss for me, it's a life turnaround.

I am pretty sensible about how to do this. My old personality used to 'give up' and make excuses to reverting back to the depressive & destructive life style (fortunately not that tragic like alcohol/drug abuse etc.)

Aside from A/S/L information which I will not be giving I believe my attitude is more important to know. If any want to buddy me feel free.

Thoughts on making cooking therapeutic?
I have been thinking a lot about how little time I had spent cooking and creating food over the years(which is why I am such a novice cook). But since I am moving to a house and will hopefully have a better kitchen could anyone suggest some tips to make cooking a more enjoyable one for myself?

I want to be able to create nutritious food by any method and especially variety. Or I should rephrase that, I would love to be like Nigella Lawson in the kitchen.

I think if I enjoyed the cooking process then I will really appreciate food in a newer way (instead of living by eating just palatable food and spending a fortune to eat better cooking then mine).

Hope to hear from anyone that loves cooking!

Weird (American?) Food
Hangi's probably the thing that comes to mind that is very NZish. It's food cooked in the earth - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hangi
The taste is very unique!
But I miss Georgie Pie lol

WHAT items do you like in your salad?
I really like lite balsalmic vinegrette dressing on cold roast kumara capsicum & red onion, though it isn't a salad more like cold veges but it's just so delicious!

How much time do you spend doing cardio & weight training?
I am wondering if I am working out effectively enough at the gym everytime I go... I head to the gym at 4.10pm and finish around 6pm or so (included getting changed) roughly this is my routine on a gym day;

Warm up power walking on the treadmill for 10 mins, then stretch a little then off to cardio.

Currently I only do 30 minutes of cardio either bike, arc trainer or rowing machine, the machine read that I would be burning on average 300 calories after the 30 minutes is up.

I do abs kind of weight training every time at the gym but for arms and legs I vary every 2nd day between the two. So weights in all would take me around 30 mins to complete (ab training + either leg or arm weights).

So what do you guys do at the gym? I am starting to feel a little like I spend a lot of time at the gym (but I want to get as much value for money since it costs a lot to join the gym that I did). I'd hate to think I need to spend longer at the gym it's not that I hate it, I love the feeling after but I don't want the rest of my night to be gone.

the shape of weight loss
I'm losing the flab in my breasts. That's unfortunate cause I liked having a C cup and now it will be reduced to a B cup.

Eventually my waist will shrink hopefully. Ah well some people like B cups right? Right?!
