Ok guys, I'm just your average over-weight Texas girl. I love food! I love finding new places to try and new recepies for my honey to cook for me (he cooks, I clean...awesomesauce!!)
My problem is that I'm 30 now and I've gained weight to the point that now it's affecting my health. I don't have anything seriously wrong NOW, but my thyroid is a little off and a couple of other problems that are EASILY prevented/taken care of if I just get down to a healthy weight.
Soooo...I downloaded this lovely little app on my phone and it brought me HERE! I'm hoping that with the community here and my friend from work I'll be able to keep the motivation to lose the weight.
I always seem to start at full blast and kind of fizzle out in less than a month. I'm hoping that with some motivation and accountability I'll be able to get down to the 135lbs (about 61kg) that I was told (by a doctor) is a good weight for my body type. I've been that low before, but not since high school. I'd just be happy at this point reaching the 150lb (68kg) mark though.
