I am a 41 year old mother of four kids , 19, 13, 10 , 9 . Ive been married for 14 years to a wonderful husband and I run a family owned cleaning business . Ive tried countless times to diet in the past and have never stuck with it as I lack motivation or energy or both. Lately I purchased some womens vitamins and they are helping give me energy to exercise which is very exciting for me! I just have to remind myself of my goal and not give up . I love this site ... its already helped me so much !

Are you taking vitamins? I started taking them and have alot more energy ever since ... just a thought

Congrats on quitting smoking thats definitely a step in the healthy diection!

Everyone slips up and makes mistakes... its what we learn from them that counts .

For me , teaching myself what my "triggers" are helps me stay strong ....
And not beating myself up when I do fall is a work in progress

Wow thank you for all the great advice everyone !

I see I have a great deal to learn but will definitely switch it up in my work outs .
I feel better today but am taking a rest day as recomended by many of you.. and will start a variety of exercises from now on .
Right now I am taking a Vitapak program for active women and it has helped a great deal but will work on a higher protein intake as well.
