I taught bilingual Spanish elementary school for 6 years, and am trying to decide if I want to go back to that or not after taking 9 years off to be at home with my 3 children (Sofía 8, Cole 7, and Talia 4). Right now I'm working part time doing administration for a doctor.
I have held pretty steady at my current weight for most of my adult life -- when I got married and became pregnant with each of my three children, and presently. The one exception was about 5 years ago between my second and third child; I joined Weight Watchers and lost 25 pounds. I was within 4 pounds of my ideal BMI weight, and would love to get there and a few pounds less, being able to hold it steady.
I really need others working on the same goals to help keep me motivated; I know being on Weight Watchers with a friend is one of the things that enabled me to be so successful 5 years ago. However, I don't really want to pay the money to do WW right now, and am hoping this site can be the "buddy factor" for me!
