Hi I'm Dee, I'm going to start SB diet
So far it's going great for me, the first few days to first week are the hardest, you get over this cravings hump and then things are much easier, you don't realize how addicted you are to junk til you cut it all out. The first time I did SB, phase 1 was torture lol. I lost about 15 pounds before I fell off track a bit, gained 5 pounds back, then thanksgiving hit and gained 4 more pounds (9 total) and now I've lost 4 (which leads me to believe that a bit was water weight). This time around it's been almost effortless to be on phase one, I'm thinking about extending it a few weeks to compensate for the holiday season coming up. I though about starting off SB again after Christmas but then I thought "if I start it now, I could lose 3-5 pounds before the new year hits and be that much closer to my goal, that much sooner." It's also helping my self esteem a lot, I feel better being proactive about my weight, the hardest part is to not look at my over all number and be overwhelmed by it, so the mini goal concept helps a lot.

Hi I'm Dee, I'm going to start SB diet
Good luck to you! I restarted South Beach diet Monday and am already seeing the scale go down. It really is an awesome solution that has given me so much hope (and results!)

Is it the weights???
If it's any consolation, I've gained up to 5 pounds in water weight from weight training, it seems like the more you break your muscles down in a day the more the swell with liquid, and the best way to keep from bloating (from sodium) is to drink more water. After my 5 pound water weight gain, it took me about 2 days recovery to lose it, but if you strength train regularly, eventually you'll start to see that scale creep down again even with the muscle swell. People give muscle weight more credit than it's do at first, it can take weeks to build a pound of muscle, but building muscle will add weight immediately via fluid retention.

No, I do not have excess skin after losing 100 pounds
You know I've heard that exercise can have a lot to do with how much extra skin you have, building muscle will go a long way to holding extra skin up and taunt, and losing it slowly and naturally helps skin slowly shrink to normal sizes, but of course if one has lost an extreme amount of weight quickly (like surgically, as my father did) obviously the skin is going to hang. Another thing though, a diet with a lot of omega 3's and vitamin E is supposed to help skin stay firm, and a lot of people don't get the proper amounts if vitamin E and omega 3's because our food is so packed with omega 6's.

My Boobs
LOL, well one could always try doing an exercise like flys to try and pull them up a little, and yes, nursing does contribute to boob-stretchage, even after the pregnancy. Any nursing (or have nursed) mother knows how HUGE they get when you first start nursing a new baby, and god forbid you go 3 hours without feeding. Then they're not boobs, just boulders lol.
