So this morning I got up, took my morning regiment and headed off to work. At this point I have been up for about two hours and I am just now eating. So not only did I miss the eat within 30 minutes of waking thing, but I discovered the the morning AGG stack w/o food makes me nauseous. Lesson learned. Get my butt out of bed earlier.

So today went well. I learned that a breakfast, I need to ea each thing separately and not all mixed together. Also, after a request from my wife and family, I will be adding Beano to my supplement regiment. :)

Ok, so I am not going to lie, yesterday's breakfast was TOUGH to choke down. I'm not a get up and eat sort of guy and trying to eat 3 eggs scrambled with leftover broccoli and black beans was more than I could handle. I made it about half way through and gave up the ghost. Knowing that I needed calories and protein, I had a Metabolic drive shake. The rest of the day went really well. Ate lunch a little later then planned but other than that all was well. Felt great all day, never felt hungry. Last night, while my wife was baking a birthday cake and the smell of chocolate was wafting through the air, I did get a sweet tooth attack so I had a Chocolate Metabolic Drive shake and all was good.
This morning, out of curiosity, I stepped on the scale- 269.4. Damn. Now today isn't my official weigh in day so I am not going to add this to my Weight History, but DAMN. I'm excited to see how this month goes.
Also picked up some guacamole, Chipotle Tabasco and Louisiana Hot Spot to go along with my Tabasco Soy Sauce.
I am taking the PAGG stack that Tim recommends in the book and have added B Complex, Potassium and Calcium. I am continuing to take my 1 baby aspirin and caffeine pill in the morning, my 4 Flameout, 1 DHEA and my 5000 iu Vitamin D with lunch, and my ZMA at night.

Ok So this is making no damn sense. If we are using the idea that weight loss is achieved by having a deficit between caloric use and caloric intake, then I should have been dropping like crazy. There has to be something else happening. I know my carbohydrate intake has been higher over the past few weeks so I imagine there could be some water retention, they're called carboHYDRATES for a reason. I am also wondering if I am losing fat but gaining muscle. With the two ideas A) There is more to this puzzle then calories in -vs- calories out, and B) I may be trading fat for muscle, I am going to change things up a bit.
1) I am going to follow Tim Ferriss' Slow Carb protocol for a few weeks and see what happens.
2) I am going to start weighing in on Saturday mornings. When you see next Saturday's food entries, you will understand.
3) I am going to start measuring myself and posting it here.

I don't agree with my scale this week. In comparing caloric intake to output, there should have been a loss. But hey, I'm feeling better and buying smaller sized clothes.
