I have always struggled with my weight. My mom put me on my first diet in 2nd grade. I gained steadily after high school and through my pregnancies. In 2003 I went on a health kick, swam and did Atkins and lost around 45 pounds and had stayed at that weight, between 135 -145 until this past year when I've gained to where I am now. The time is NOW for me. I want to get into the best shape of my life before the big 50! I've chosen P90X mostly because swimming, while I love it, is hard on my hair and inconvenient.
Personally, I work as a commodities broker. Currently, I'm also working on finishing my second novel. I have HIGH hopes for this one! I write fiction and feel its my true God given talent.
I have 3 dogs, Lou, an afghan hound, Pixie , a papillon with a gimpy leg and Gidgett, a yorkie that steals everyone's heart.
I love to travel and have several big trips planned over the next 1-2 years..another reason I want to be fit as a fiddle.
