I am new to this website, but I have been doing Weight Watchers since 2/6/08. I am 31 yrs old and over the last 13 yrs, I have slowly gained wieght. When I turned 30, it really hit me that I didn't want to be this unhealthly and unfit. Right now it is only me in my family that is on WW, but since I do the cooking, my husband is also eating a lot healthier. I have been married for 9 years and wanted get back to what I weighed (or less) when we were married for our 10th year.
I am really glad I found this site. This is my second round with WW. The first one I just got the point books and went at it alone. This time I am going to the meetings and they really help. I find that they hold me accountable for my choices and give me support when I have lost sight of my goal.
Last week I reached my 10% goal! I am super excited and want to keep the ball rolling!
*** Update: A few weeks ago I hit my 30 lbs mark! Awesome!! I am getting close to the final stretch... Finding that I am having tons more energy to do the things I enjoy, like fishing with friends, :0) The last few weeks have been on the ups and downs, but I am still motivated to lose the weight and KEEP it off ! ***
