The secret of Carbs
According to a dietician,decreasing carbs drastically or eliminating them completely from your diet is not beneficial at all. Carbohydrates keep your metabolism functioning in a healthy way. Now we have to make the right choices of carbs like whole grains, oats, potatoes and corn. Of coarse like everything eating in moderation is the key. Carbohydrates should be at least 50% of your daily intake. Without them your body goes into survival mode, as if you were in a famine. So if you are on a low carb diet and start to feel tired all the time and notice you are not losing weight or gaining. Check your food diary and see whether your getting enough carbs and calories.
