I am an artist and because of that it is a relatively sedatary life style. IF I am working in the studio I do not have a very active life nor time for it. I am a fair weather person and do excercise by walking on hour or so as soon as the weather is nice along with gardening etc.I also like a clean house and so I do house work fairly regular as well.
All this in a nut shell along with the fact that I have fibromyalgia has made for a 5 lb weight gain a year for the past 10 years and a whopping 50 over weight situation which seemed to me to be over night.
I am determined to get this under control before it becomes 100 one day.
I am giving myself one year to get 5 years of baggage off this body.

NEWBIE FEELING SICK!
Make sure to drink plenty of water. It is really important to stay hydrated to flush your body and it really helps to keep you from having a headache.

docs in the morning...
I use to have tremendous migraines. My neurologist gave me magniseum and riboflavin and I haven't had one since I have been taking it daily for about 2 years now. I do occasional headaches that I chase away with Excederin. Check with your doc. and see what they think.

Trying to make sense of this....
The other thing you have to remember is that muscle always weighs more than fat so if you are excercising alot you will build muscle and make it hard to loose pounds in which case maybe you should look at the inches you are loosing instead of pounds.
