Finally hit my 10 pound mini goal! Might start weighing once a week now. I just had to get the first 10 pounds off. Now I feel a sense of relief and motivation to press on. I'm working hard to assemble daily menus that hit my 70/20/10% fat/protein/carb goal so that I can burn the fat. I think my success will only come with planning in advance and determination!
253.7 lb Lost so far: 11.3 lb.    Still to go: 78.7 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Congratulations! I'm just starting induction...also just found FatSecret....is that the standard that I should also shoot for -- 70/20/10?

I read just the other day that that ratio is what Atkins recommends. It's not easy to actually reach that. I ate several of their frozen dinners last week & when all added up, they don't meat that ratio, but evidently close enough. Do a little reading about ketosis to understand it a little better & I bet you'll do well.

That's close to my ratio. Though I find I lose more weight at 70/25/5.
