performance: losing 0.5 lb a week

I'm a 42 year old mom with two kids. I love books, tennis and the outdoors. I lost about 35 lbs on Atkins 2 years ago, but it's been a struggle to lose the rest of the 30 or so lbs to get to my goal. I'm hoping to get there in 2014. I just joined a gym, so I'm hoping that some exercise and really sticking to Atkins will help me get there in 2014.

Welcome! There haven't been as many postings here lately, but I still check this forum out every few days, so I'll be around. Glad to hear that Atkins was working for you before - it's my second time on Atkins too.

Great work everyone! Just catching up on all the posts and it seems like everyone is really motivated and having fun. I am proud of myself because I exercised yesterday for the first time in more than 6 years. Of course I get exercise in daily life, but I'm talking about a focused period of exercise. I hope I can keep it up.

How was the weekend everyone? I always get off track from my good habits on the weekend. On Saturday night I went out to a club with friends, and since I'm trying to avoid Aspartame too, I felt like I had to order a glass of wine, otherwise it would have been Club Soda, which just seemed too boring.

Hi everyone, I just started Atkins again about 10 days ago. I'm glad to see so many new people joining too. I have to lose 68 lbs in total, I lost 6 in the first week. I'm anxiously awaiting Tuesday to see how much I lost the 2nd week.
