Clearly I don't know what I'm doing. Or maybe I should say I know but just don't care. I can't seem to stop eating crappy food. It's an addiction. I know what I should be eating but I want the junk and I don't have the willpower to say no. Oh well, today is another day and I'll start all over again.

Stay strong everyone and don't let the junk win!

If it wasn't for chocolate -- especially ice cream -- I'd probably weight 2/3 of what I weigh now. Tip #1: Don't bring the junk food into the home. Tip #2: Don't beat yourself up.

I feel your pain but I know you can do this. Think smaller... every time you eat 5 bites of chocolate instead of 6, that's a step in the right direction. Every time you make a healthier food swap, there's another step. It may take longer but eventually these smaller steps add up too. It takes time to change, give yourself more credit. You can do this!

It’s soooooo hard for me too sometimes!! Like a mindless zombie after brains Makes me so mad lol I’ve been going back and forth between trying to eat some in moderation to cutting it out completely because i know I’ll lose control. Haven’t found what works for me yet but I will! And you will too!

I know that I have to portion out my "snack" food and then have a plan for it in my day. Or everything becomes a single serving (whole bag regardless of size is a serving Right?) in my mind because it is just easier. I don't deny myself any food really - but I will tell you that some things have lost their appeal when I plan for them as they are not worth the carb or calories in the day. It does become more of a habit now to plan and measure. I wish you all the best on your adventure.

I love mixed nuts, they are my weakness. I also know if I stand next to them - like while waiting for the water for my coffee to boil - I will mindlessly snack on them. If I put them in my lunch bag or desk drawer 'just in case' I will eat them. Know what I do? I put on the water and leave the room. I don't bring them with me; if I get hungry then I'll have to put in the effort to go to the cafeteria and get something.

You really have to decide whether you want the junk food more than seeing a loss on the scales. You have to ask yourself that every time before you eat it. After a while the junk food becomes less appealing.

A lot of people have that issue including me. I posted a “heavy” picture of me on the refrigerator. All the junk food my family wants to eat is hidden. It’s funny but I won’t look for it but if it’s in my face I’ll eat it. Remember your goal and how bad you want it. Don’t beat yourself up if you have a bad day just start over the next day. All we can do is try and sometimes try again. This is a life struggle for me and I’ve lost over 100lbs 3 times in my life using different methods. This time it’s for my health and being there for my family. That’s my motivation. I have faith and you’ll get there when you can.
