My son has been having ear problems since last fall, he had tubes put in the day after Christmas and we had hopes it would help. Well he woke me up during the night telling me his ears were driaing again. A little draining is ok, but his ears were draining so bad that I had to wonder if he could even hear a word I was saying. So off to the doctor we go again, ofcourse they tell me the same thing as always he's got another infection and his ears are so full of drainage they can't see if the tubes are even in place. I'm so sick of green yuck pouring out of his ears. If it was his nose it would be no problem, but coming out of his ears is just wrong.
Besides worrying about my son, I let my dog out to do his buisness and even before I can make it back to the livingroom he starts barking like the world is coming to an end. I turn around to see whats going on and my husbands uncle is standing in my house. I tell him I need to check my dog and he tells me I already took care of him. I was like what do you mean, he said don't worry and he told me why he came over, unannounced. As he was about to walk out the door I said let me get my dog, his reply was "He wont bother me." and he walked out. I opened my door and in comes Khan with a bloddy leg. That man kicked my dog because Khan was doing his job! This uncle has always been a little scary, he's had many problems that his family bails him out of, and he just walks into my house and because my dog didn't like him he thought the best way to shut him up was to kick him. This man is luck my boxer lab mix didn't attack him. Thank Good it was only a flesh wound and thank god I have trained my dog the right way because if Khan would have attack him this man would have made sure my dog was put down even though he was just warning me a strange man was on the property.
Khan took everything in stride, he was in heaven when everone was around him giving him lots of love. The kids even had to sleep with him to make sure he was fine all night long.
With everything going on I was surprised I didn't head for the kids stash of goodies. I at my yummy meal and did get a little excercise in not as much as I would have liked but at least it was something.
