That's a great goal and it looks like you're off to a good start. It's not an easy goal, but with hard work you can do it!

Congratulations Trish, good for you for deciding to do this. You really can do this. A year from now you will be so very glad you made this decision. We are all here to support you. I was 215 Spring 2017. I had 75lbs to lose. I was on high cholesterol and high blood pressure meds, the highest dose. I'm now 10lbs from my goal of 140 and off meds. You can do this. We believe in you.

Thank you all for your support! It really means a lot to me! And thank you 2426girl, that's inspirational as I am at (now) 242lbs. I was at 246lbs but I lost a couple of pounds so that's good, but I was diagnosed with high blood pressure and put on meds and am dreading my annual check up with my PCP as he had last seen me at 216lbs. I was supposed to go down not the opposite LOL Anyway thanks again!

You can do it. They key is logging food and staying active with your journal/the community. It doesn’t matter what woe you choose as long as you log your food for accountability. That way you can know if you have any creeping calories. Weight loss is about 80% food choices they say. Maintenance is harder.
