Sounds like your kids were up to speed on preparedness and had clear heads. That's an accomplishment right there! So glad everyone is healthy, no lung damage or worse. Hope inspector arrives early and that your place is habitable again quickly.

Still have some breakers not working look.. They put a new breaker panel in and box..My garbage disposal isn't working neither is my bathroom lights or my bedroom lights...Also caused my dishwasher to burn up ... But still we are home and happy to be here
