? for you
Yes, I count calories on every thing I eat. I lift dumbells and do situps several times a week. I measure my food on a food scale in order to be accurate with the ounces or grams I am taking in. A spring salad with carrots, tomato, celery, a few olives, and a small amount of low calorie dressing really helps to fight the cravings and very low in calories. I drink plenty of water, coffee, and tea. I drink a meal replacement shake or a protein shake every day or two and include it into my total macros. I have lost a total of 45 pounds since the first of January. Some weeks not much movement at all and then all of a sudden I loose a bunch over night. Never give up and it is OK to cheat a little once in a while. Keep it infrequent and not too much. That is how I succeeded!

Calories and sodium
Eating fresh fruits and vegetables will reduce your sodium intake. Stay away from fast foods and processed foods. Lean meats with other spices to flavor rather than salt will help tremendously. I hope this helps!

oz to grams
You can often do that on the serving size area of the food you add. Frequently there will be grams and or other measurments you may wish to use.

Map app?
I don't know how in depth this app goes but I really like it. The maps seem good. It is called "Moves". It works well on my android phone.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I hop on the scale daily to gauge what my body is doing. I record weight loss less frequently!
