So, about 2 weeks ago, I had some Shop Your Way reward points I had to spend or I was going to lose them. I decided that I was going to get three pair of pants and a top that were a size too small for me, knowing that eventually I would fit in them.

This morning, I figured, "What the hell?" And decided to try them on to see how long I would have until they fit.

THEY FIT!!!!! Hallelujah!!! A size 16 petite in Gloria Vanderbilt jeans! Little bit of a muffin top due to loose skin, but I will never be rid of that. I have gone from size 36 to a 16! I never thought I would see a 16 again. I wonder if I'll get down to a 10?

So happy for you. I have been cleaning out a closet that I haven't used for quite some time. I have a new wardrobe lol. Last year I was wearing a 5X. I just got clothes that I ordered this month in a 2X, and like you, I figured I would have them when I need them. I had to try them on and yep, they fit or were a little too large. My weight is not dropping as quickly as my inches, but that's great. My glucose has been dropping and I'm sure my A1C is going to make my endocrinologist and me very happy. I'm sure I haven't worn a 1X for at least 25 (or more) years. Don't even have any of those hidden away. When I get there I'm afraid my husband is going to notice the credit card isn't zero balance, which is where he always keeps it. I intend to have a shopping spree. THEN I will be looking forward to shopping in stores that are meant for average, not obese people. Congrats on your new size.
